Company HistoryR&M Scaffolding (Sussex) Ltd was established in the mid 1990s by Ron Friend and Michael Middleton.We work with both national and local builders in Brighton, Hove and the surrounding areas. We work with BSW, Wood Brothers, Cheesmur Building Contractors, Morgan Sindall and The Mears Group Plc who are the main contractors for social housing day to day maintenance for Brighton and Hove City Council, as well as many other main contractors. We have also worked as far afield as Heathrow, Eastbourne, Bognor, Chichester and London and would welcome enquiries in all areas. We consider training to be important both for personal development and for professional expertise, all our staff curently hold CSCS accreditation and we currently have a number of apprentices with ConstructionSkills. All of our staff currently have thier Part 2 Scaffolders Card, whilst others are working towards gaining qualifications. We offer apprenticeship and have had many successful applicants in the past. Ron Friend and Michael Middleton have achieved thier SMSTS in December 2010 (CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme) We have achieved Investors in People Award in November 2006, and have joined Constuction Line in 2007, and continue to have accreditation with both Chas and Constuction Line. We won the 2008 Spring Awards Employer-led Training (under 250 employers), sponsored by Sussex Enterprise, and have continued to show our commitment to trainng our work force Our staff team have all been trained in Rescue at Height in November 2010. |
